I am currently a freelance writer for two Gannett newspapers, The Ocala Star Banner and The Gainesville Sun. I write and take photos about events, politics, education and more.

The Independent Florida Alligator
I was The Alligator's Editor-in-Chief for the Summer of 2023. I led a newsroom of about 60 staff members, including editors, reporters, multimedia team, social media strategists and content managers and copy desk. I represented UF's student newspaper in a New York Times Magazine article about UF president Ben Sasse. In my junior year, I was the features editor for two semesters. Previously, I was also the Metro editor, East Gainesville reporter and a Metro news assistant. The Alligator is student-run and works independently from The University of Florida.

WUFT Gainesville
I write articles and produce multimedia and TV footage for WUFT, Gainesville's NPR affiliate, throughout my time at The University of Florida. I also write statewide impact stories for WUFT's Fresh Take Florida. My work has been published by The Associated Press, SFGATE, NBC News Miami, U.S. News & World Report, The Gainesville Sun, WUSF Public Media, Pensacola News Journal and FloridaPolitics.com.

The Bradenton Herald
I was The Bradenton Herald's reporting intern during the Summer of 2022. I wrote breaking news articles and pulled archives to celebrate the newspaper's 100th anniversary.
NextShark News
I was a reporter for NextShark from October 2021 to January 2022. I wrote breaking news articles and feature stories about Asian news and Asian Americans.
